Last meet of 2021!
We would like to thank everyone who came out for the October 9th meet, including the folks that made the drive over from Cheyenne! Tom had some mechanical issues and had to leave early, but the rest of the group got to cruise across town and through downtown Laramie!
Looking forward to 2022 and getting more VW people involved!
Saying goodbye to Adam!
We want to wish Adam Burke, one of the founding members of Thin Air Dub Club, the best of luck on his next professional chapter. Adam has moved to Michigan for a new opportunity. The rest of the club members are so excited for what lies ahead for Adam.
For those that don't know, Adam was the personal responsible for helping us to create the great club logo and has always been shared the vision of growing our club!
Great turn out for July meet!
We had a total of six cars at the July meet! Everyone had a great time, hanging out and talking VWs (and a Porsche!). Arianna and Dean drove out from Cheyenne to join us, Ben and son drove his 914, Adam and his wife brought two cars: their Karmann Ghia and the Vanagon Westy. Tom brought his '69 Bug out for its first meet! Looking forward to a few more shows this month and then the August meet!
July meeting rescheduled!
Our meets are normally the second Saturday of the month, but our July meet is going to be on the same weekend as the Laramie Jubilee Days. In order to avoid any conflicts with the local festivities, we are going to reschedule our July meet to the following Sunday, July 18th.
Come join us at the Sonic Drive-In on Grand Ave. at noon on Sunday, July 18th!
June meet will be at local car show!
The June club meet has been rescheduled to happen at the Cars In The Yard Car/Bike Show that occurs at the Wyoming Territorial Prison State Historic Site on June 26th! The proceeds from this show will benefit a local charity.
This show will be a great way to introduce Laramie to our little club, so bring your VW out and let's hang out!
The first club meet of 2021!
The weather is starting to warm up and that means that it is time to get the VWs ready for the first of the 2021 Thin Air Dub Club meets! Our first meeting will be May 8th at noon. We welcome all VW fans come on out to and join the fun!
